Today, if someone refuses to be anything but gloomy or grouchy no matter how many knock knock jokes you tell them, just move on. Why worry about one person who is still stuck in their own personal fog? They have to be open-minded enough to see that they can choose to be happy. And if they're not, you can't make them. Let them find their own way to happiness -- it's much more rewarding that way, anyway.
